If you order before mid-day, Monday to Friday and we have your items in stock, we'll aim to dispatch them the same day. If you order after mid-day but before 2pm, we'll still try our hardest to dispatch your goods that day but, if we can't, we'll dispatch them the following day. Items ordered after 2pm on Friday or over a weekend will be dispatched Monday. Items dispatched on Friday are for delivery the following week. Items ordered over a Bank Holiday will be dispatched the next working day.
UK Deliveries
RATES
All UK orders are subject to £1.99 postage except where stated at time of ordering.
Unusually heavy or bulky orders carriage costs will be confirmed before despatch.
COURIERS
Royal Mail and Parcel Force and City Link are all couriers that deliver our orders within the UK.
Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, i.e. bad weather or courier logistic problems, short delays may occur.
If the delay is due to items being out of stock, you will be advised via email or telephone immediately.

Channel Islands / IOM / Highlands and Islands may be subject to additional carriage charges.
DELIVERY DETAIL
Normal delivery is between 9am - 6pm GMT (Monday to Friday). Please ensure that someone will be at the specified delivery address to receive the order. Orders can be delivered to an alternative address (i.e. a work address). However, your primary address details must be your registered address. If the order is delivered while you are out, an advice card will be left.
All deliveries will be considered received in good condition unless you specify damaged or opened etc when signing. All damages or shortages MUST be reported immediately.
International Deliveries
RATES
The weight of the goods will determine the charge applied to that particular country. Larger packages are calculated on a volumetric basis - bikes, frames, wheels, etc. So please contact us at sales@the-bikeshed.co.uk before you purchase an item.
